Using various mediums such as illustration, etching, installation and murals, Benjamin's art feels personal and universal at the same time. The perfect vehicle for complex storytelling, his style is highly figurative, full of personal references and expressive details - steeped in symbology and poetry. Benjamin draws his inspiration from ancient etching, new imagery, irrationality and human logic as well as from humankind, which led him to launch "true stories"- a long term project documenting refugees' lives in Vienna and Europe.
